Owners Ian and Angela Holzer are both South Dakota natives with strong family ties to Sturgis. Having grown up in the Black Hills, they understand firsthand the unique challenges that South Dakota businesses face throughout the year.

Ian Holzer
After honorably serving in the United States Marine Corps, Ian built a successful career in the commercial door industry, spending more than 27 years installing, repairing, estimating, and managing commercial door projects. His experience ranges from storefront systems and hollow metal doors to automatic operators, hardware, and specialty commercial openings.
Angela Holzer
Angela brings extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, public service, and community engagement to Holzer Doors. She has worked in the nonprofit sector and in politics, developing strong skills in organization, communication, and relationship building. Her background, combined with her deep South Dakota roots, helps ensure that every customer receives responsive service, clear communication, and the personal attention that only a locally owned family business can provide.
